After a number of years in one Angel Fire location, we had to move. We are being hosted by historic Elizabethtown. It is a few miles north of Eagle Nest and only about 20 minutes from the old site. Living History Rendezvous

Historic and Educational fun for the Public
Public Hours: 10am – 5pm

Celebrating the American past from the colonial period to the westward expansion. Camps, dress and trade goods should be pre 1883. Shooting contests to use loose powder and round ball from the pouch in period style guns, including percussion revolvers. No cartridges! Primitive archery, hawk & knife, costume contest, et al. Water and firewood provided. Early setup Wednesday. Horses welcome, bring your own feed. Elizabethtown church will serve a $5 breakfast on Sunday morning.

 

On-Site Camping For Traders And Re-Enactors

Fees: $25 per camp — includes one medallion
Trader: camp fee + $25 prize or trader bucks
Extra medallion — with shooter’s number — $10

Pre-registration appreciated, but not required. Please check www.livinghistoryrendezvous.org for updated information. Submit payments to The Living History Rendezvous at the above address. Only registered Re-Enactors in the gunfight show. Only Pets of registered participants will be allowed: pets must be kept under control at all times. Trade goods must be original, handcrafted, or authentic reproductions of trade goods from start of time until 1890. Animal parts or protected species that do not conform to the laws of the United States and/or the state of New Mexico shall not be sold, displayed, or possessed. No alcoholic beverages shall be sold, traded, bartered, or in any way distributed for profit without the appropriate New Mexico license. No items that are made of plastic or pvc may be traded, sold, or otherwise displayed. However, kitchens may utilize items that are appropriately disguised. Food may be sold to the public in plastic or paper containers. Kitchens selling goods must provide the appropriate New Mexico license before opening. It is the responsibility of each vendor to provide a New Mexico sales tax (CRS) number, and collect the appropriate taxes.
